24 HOUR TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
Texas Animal Control Solutions has temporarily discontinued our Animal Rescue Ambulance. We continue to offer transportation services and assistance in moving sick or injured animals anywhere in the North Texas Region through our regular Animal Services Vehicles.
We can be a “taxi” for your pets also. We offer “pet to vet” services for routine examinations. We also will transport animals from a 24 hour veterinary facility to the clients normal veterinary facility for routine care.
Have you ever had pets that were too big for their owners? What happens when the pet escapes and runs through the mud? And the worst, how about being sprayed by a skunk! Why would anyone place an animal in their own vehicle then have to pay to have the vehicle cleaned.
LOST PET RECOVERY SERVICES
A pet owners worst fear is losing their beloved family member. This is why pet owners must act quickly and efficiently once it is realized that a pet has been lost. Three-Fourths of all lost pets are never reunited with their owners for two simple reasons, they did not place identification tags on their pets or they did not do everything they could do to locate their missing pet. Unfortunately, Animal Control will only take a small amount of information regarding the lost pet in the event it comes through the shelter. Animal Services will not respond to assist in locating the pet. In some cases, they are not permitted to even give out missing pet owner information if someone were to call that has found a roaming pet.
Texas Animal Control Solutions provides lost pet recovery services throughout the North Texas Region. It is crucial that our service be contacted as soon as possible to insure immediate actions are taken. Remember, animals have 4 legs, we only have 2. Pets can walk and run much faster than we can, thus they can also travel farther away from their home in a shorter amount of time.
Texas Animal Control Solutions provides various levels of service when dealing with lost pets. The client can have us respond to their home where we will act as a consultant and provide detailed information as to what actions the pet owner needs to take to help find their lost pet. We will provide phone lists for local veterinary offices and animal shelters, assist in making signs and posters where applicable, and insure notice is posted on websites along with consulting with the owner regarding future actions to be taken.
The client may request Texas Animal Control Solutions to conduct the recovery and do everything ourselves. We will respond immediately and begin canvassing the neighborhood in search of the missing pet. A lost pet report will be made and copies submitted to all area veterinary offices and animal control agencies. A visit will be made to local animal shelters to insure the pet has not been impounded by animal control. Furthermore, we will post the lost pet on all applicable web sites. Posters and flyers will be canvassed throughout the neighborhood of where the missing pet resides (where applicable laws allow). Texas Animal Control Solutions will return as often as necessary to personally speak with neighboring residents to advise them of the missing pet and to provide owner information in the event the pet is located.
Texas Animal Control Solutions has began an affiliate partnership with PetLocator, a national company that will contact all registered animal control centers, veterinarians, pet hospitals, rescue organizations, pet stores, groomers, boarders, and other Pet Locator members within a 50-mile radius of your pets disappearance. Membership and application fees are very reasonable when it comes to assisting in locating your lost pet. Click on the banner below for further information.
Texas Animal Control Solutions does not guarantee that a missing pet will be located. Texas Animal Control Solutions does not guarantee that if the pet is located, that it will be properly turned over to the rightful owner. Legal issues involving pet ownership are a potential problem in any lost pet recovery case. Texas Animal Control Solutions can further assist in the event of legal issues at the discretion of the animal owner.
All services are provided on a “per hour” charge based on the wants and needs of the pet owner.

DOMESTIC ANIMAL SERVICES
Texas Animal Control Solutions offers several forms of domestic animal services. Typically, this covers the impoundment of stray dogs & cats within a municipal jurisdiction. Most larger cities & towns have their own Animal Control Agency. However, Texas Animal Control Solutions does offer contractual agreements with any municipal agency, county, or private sub-division communities to provide full services or as a back-up agency. Along with the functions of routine Animal Control, Texas Animal Control Solutions offers a wider variety of services that cities cannot.
In cases where a family has decided to place their pet for adoption, Texas Animal Control Solutions has a large animal shelter that can properly care and maintain the animal until it can be adopted instead of the possibility of euthanasia. It should be noted that an evaluation of the animal to be released will be performed by Texas Animal Control Solutions staff and the pet may not be deemed acceptable to be placed for adoption. We can also assist a family that is in search of a new family pet. We always have animals available for adoption. After interviewing the family and determining their wants and needs, we can see if one of our pets are right for you. If not, a variety of other resources are available to attempt to locate a pet best suiting the wants of the family.
If your pet is ever impounded by Animal Control, they will usually tell you to repair your fence or take actions necessary to keep your pet in your yard. Texas Animal Control Solutions also provides escape prevention services to evaluate your pets area to determine what needs to be done to make your pet and family more secure. We can provide easy solutions from fence installations and repair to electronic containment.
Cremations & Burials
What do residents do when a pet passes away? Usually they are unprepared to deal with such a tragedy. Texas Animal Control Solutions will respond to a residents home to assist families in dealing with their passed pet. We offer cremation services that may be either communal (other pets cremated at the same time) or private (only the owners pet cremated and this service includes the pets ashes being returned in a sealed urn). We have a variety of companies that provide urns & caskets for your pets. If a pet owner chooses a burial, this can be done at any pet cemetery in the area or at home. Our staff will come and personally bury the family pet in your yard as the owner wishes and make arrangements for a headstone.
You may also visit www.Rainbowsbridge.com for pet loss & grievance sites. This is a wonderful site to provide an online resting place for your beloved pet.
Other transportation services provided by Texas Animal Control Solutions which were not covered above include surrender services for euthanasia in the event the family has made this decision based on age, suffering, illness, or temperament. Texas Animal Control Solutions officers are trained to handle and properly care for aggressive animals which the owner may not be comfortable with handling. We can arrange for transportation within the state of Texas due to a family move.
Texas Animal Control Solutions is an affiliate partner for the PetCare Pet Health Insurance Company and maintains a direct link to their web-site. Texas Animal Control Solutions is in progress of obtaining the proper documents through the State Department of Insurance to become a direct broker of pet insurance plans. Pet insurance is a valuable asset to any pet owner. Most pet insurance policies you will find includes coverage for recovering lost pets, costs of emergency transportation services, and euthanasia/cremations, all of which can be provided by Texas Animal Control Solutions. WILDLIFE RESCUE SERVICES
Wildlife is an everyday part of our lives. We may not realize it but wild animals live among us and in some cases even with us in our own homes. Having the extensive experience as an Animal Control Officer, Texas Animal Control Solutions can offer services far beyond that of municipal animal control agencies. Most municipal agencies provide a basic service when it comes to wildlife which includes trapping and relocation. However sometimes more in-depth services are required to provide the assistance that is required by a resident.
In cases of a wild animal entering the living area of a home, we will respond immediately to remove the animal. This service is available 24 hours a day and pertains to any form of wildlife from snakes to skunks. Where wildlife has become a nuisance to the resident either by destroying plants, crawling around in the attic, or living in the garage, traps can be set to humanely capture the wild animal so it may be transported and relocated to a habitat where it may continue to thrive. A home inspection of the residence & property will determine the best course of action to take to rid the homeowner of the unwanted guest. We can also perform minor home repairs where wildlife has created damage.
Texas Animal Control Solutions also provides deterrence systems to prevent wildlife from returning. During the initial consultation, our experienced staff will offer advice as to how to keep wild animals from returning and damaging the property. With our recommendations and the clients approval, we will construct and install the best deterrence system available for the clients specific needs. The best remedy to wildlife problems is prevention.
Texas Animal Control Solutions is dedicated to provide humane capture and relocation of all species of animals. Texas Animal Control Solutions does not provide any form of insect extermination services including bee swarms and is not certified to dispense or apply poisons or chemicals.
It should be noted that Texas Animal Control Solutions does not handle large nuisance wildlife such as coyotes, large cats, or beaver. We do invite these types of calls so we may offer assistance to the resident and provide further contact information for the proper authorities.
In the event that a resident or client finds an injured member of the wildlife family, or in the case of infant or abandoned wildlife, Texas Animal Control Solutions will respond immediately to care for the animal until it can be transferred to a wildlife rehabilitator.
RESCUE & INVESTIGATIONS
With the extensive amount of law enforcement background, Texas Animal Control Solutions offers specialized rescue & investigative services.
By the term rescue, most would think this service pertains to the rescue of stray and unwanted animals facing euthanasia at the area animal shelters or the search for purebred animals to take to private rescue organizations throughout Texas. For Texas Animal Control Solutions, we provide rescue services to animals, both domestic & wild, that are trapped, injured, or otherwise unable to free itself from a dangerous situation. Some examples include cats in trees, animals from storm drains and pipes, pets that may be entangled in fences, tethers, chains, or leashes, or any other entrapment or situation that may endanger the life of the animal. Specialized rescue equipment is either carried by or available to Texas Animal Control Solutions. In some cases, local fire & rescue professionals are also called to the rescue scene to lend assistance.
Investigation services can be either a criminal or civil investigation. In areas where there is no animal control service, Texas Animal Control Solutions may represent a client and investigate animal cruelty and bring its report to the local law enforcement authority. Texas Animal Control Solutions officers are not Certified Police Officers. Our staff possesses the knowledge of investigative skills and techniques to provide a thorough investigation which may lead to the seizure of the animal being treated cruelly and the owner or violator being arrested on criminal charges.
Most criminal investigations include cruelty and abandonment cases such as beatings, general neglect, shelter requirements, and persons moving and leaving their pets behind to starve. Civil investigations may include rights of ownership and complaint mediation between neighbors. In the State of Texas animals are considered property, thus there are many cases throughout the region where multiple persons attempt to claim one animal. Furthermore, most cities & towns have their own codes & ordinances providing a definition of “owner” of an animal.
There are many facts & circumstances which must be taken into consideration when conducting investigations. Our staff encourages phone calls from any person, at any time of day, if they feel a criminal act is being or is about to be committed against a defenseless animal. Callers do not have to provide any information about themselves unless a true investigation is requested by the caller. Texas Animal Control Solutions will provide phone consultation to assist persons in dealing with cruelty complaints to insure the best course of action to take.
